Associate Professor Le Duc Anh have achieved ultrafast magnetization control at sub-picosecond rates through electron wave function manipulation. They have demonstrated a new functionality for low-power spin devices operating in the terahertz frequency band.

Tatsuro Endo (D1), have made lateral 2-terminal spin-valve devices, the basis of spin transistors, using single crystal oxides and succeeded in obtaining a large magnetoresistance ratio, more than 10 times greater than previous lateral spin-valve devices, and in gate modulation of a current.

2022 年 12 月 1 日 森川・成末研究室 山口温大さん（学部４年）、林政東さん（修士課程１年）、松浦賢太郎さん（博士課程 3 年）が 2022 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference で「Student and Young Engineer Design Competition First Prize」を受賞されました。

工学系研究科 電気系工学専攻 博士2年山口尚紀さんがIEEE Photonics Conference (IPC), Best Student Papers 3rd Placeを受賞しました。

電気系工学専攻およびスピントロニクス学術連携研究教育センターのレ デゥック アイン (Le Duc Anh) 准教授が、令和４(2022)年度・東京大学卓越研究員に選ばれました。

瀧口耕介(研究当時博士課程大学院生、田中研)、白谷治憲(修士課程大学院生、田中研)、レデゥックアイン准教授、田中雅明 教授らによる非磁性/強磁性半導体ヘテロ接合において巨大な奇関数磁気抵抗効果を発見した研究成果が、東京大学および科学技術振興機構よりプレスリリースされ、いくつかのマスコミで報道されました。

電気系工学専攻の瀧口耕介大学院生（研究当時）、Le Duc Anh准教授、白谷治憲大学院生および田中雅明教授の研究グループは、生産技術研究所の福澤亮太大学院生（研究当時）、高橋琢二教授、福島工業高等専門学校の千葉貴裕講師と共同で研究を行い、その成果が英国科学誌「Nature Communications」のオンライン版に掲載されました。
