Neural Networks and Wireless Networks: See/feel/speak with radio-wave sensitive eyes and artificial intelligence (AI)

*Investigation of information processing principles in the brain from an electronic information engineering perspective, *Research on new information and signal processing technology by combining symbol processing and pattern processing, *Development of flexible electromagnetic/light measurement techniques, imaging and communication methods, and *Realization of useful systems and devices.

Research field 1

Radar imaging based on brain-type intelligence information processing

Earth obervation using radio waves is about to be used more and more widely, from environmental monitoring to autonomous driving and biophysiological measurements. We contribute to the construction of a safe and secure society by developing and combining the function of "seeing invisible things" using radio waves and new brain-type information processing. Research field 2

Building an information processing system based on the essence of the brain mechanism

The performance of personal computers and supercomputers is amazing, and everyone is benefiting from them. But they are built on a foundation different from what our brain is based on. Then, is it impossible for humans to realize information processing systems (devices, systems, applications) that are essentially based on the mechanism of the brain? No, no. We are comprehensively promoting its basic framework, implementation, and application development. Focusing on and combining mathematics and physics, we construct new information processing while considering psychological and physiological aspects. Link to Video
